LDROG is the latest, most accurate and efficient method that a learner driver is able to collect and display the driving data that they are required to have recorded before progressing to a provisional licence. The application allows a user to record all the data that is required in the RTA approved New South Wales Learner Driver Logbook and more. This data is;
- Learner Driver details (Name, Licence Number)
- Supervising Driver details (Name, Licence Number)
- Day or Night
- Road Conditions
- Weather Conditions
- Traffic Conditions
- Vehicle Details (Registration Number)
- Comments feature (where supervisor can comment on learners driving)
Using the iPhones in built GPS system the application is able to accurately locate a journeys beginning and ending. This GPS system also allows the application to accurately calculate the distance of each journey.
Other features of the application are:
- A sophisticated filter system which allows a user to view individual driving logs according different criteria e.g. specific supervising drivers and starting or ending locations.
- A View your Journey function. This function graphically depicts the learners journey once completed over a google map.
LDROG will export all collected data in an easy to interpret report that can be sent to any nominated email address using the export function. The report will include a summary of all logs for the learner driver, log details by each supervising driver and each individual driving log for the learner. Once printed this report this can be signed off by the supervising drivers and presented to the relevant authorities as evidence that the learner driver has completed their requirements.
